  • Obtain an understanding of some common mental health disorders

Mental Health Diagnoses

Mental Health Disorders are classified by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), which can be access via the American Psychiatric Association. Your university or clinical supervisor will have a copy of the manual. 

Some clients will have a dual diagnoses and you may benefit from building an awareness of specific requirements in this scenario.

 (Note:  Students will need to join as a ClinEdAus member to access and log the guided reflection activities.)
