Mental health week
Mental health week (8-15 October) is celebrated all around Australia, with states and territories adopting their own themes to raise awareness about individual and community mental health and wellbeing.
Given that mental health conditions affect a broad spectrum of Australians at any given time, supervisors and students should consider the likelihood that they may see clients who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition or be working alongside a person with a mental health condition as part of their multidisciplinary team.
